Correspondent Mr. Leslie Perrie conducted the regular morning service in, Knox Church on Aug. 21. Leslie is a student for the ministry and will be continuing his studies at Philadephia in September. Mrs. Stuart McNair spent the past week, with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henry 'at Goderich. Mrs. John M. Perrie has been on a three week trip to England and Scotland where she visited relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Starr and daughter Kim, Markdale, visited Mr. and Mrs. Don Cotton. Miss Kelly Starr of Baxter spent several days at' the same home. Mr. and Mrs.Howard Mitchell are in Thorold with members of their family.. Miss Sharon Engel spent several days visiting Miss Loraine Dinsmore at. Fordwich and Suan visited with the Fraser girls at RR. 3, Hanover. Miss. Lynn Cameron spent :a few days at Long Point on Lake Erie with friends Pat Rowdiffi and Marguerite. Snell, Clifton andCarol Wood, of Paris., ' Miss Sandra Cameron and Valerie Kelley, Listowel, visited for a few days at °mien Sound. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs., Carman Smith on the arrival of a wee daughter at Listowel Hospital on Saturday, Aug. 20. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn attended the annual picnic of the Stan Machan family on Sunday afternoon. On account of weather conditions it was held at the hoine of Mr. and Mrs..Bey Weber, Listowel, with approximately 30 present. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Veitch were at the Henderson reunion held at Aberfoyle on Sunday. Lowe, longtime Huron rtment of Highways ployee and well known ssels resident died suddenly Long Point ach on Monday. He was 58.. is survived by.his wife the et Mary Fox, by a daughter n, Mrs. Jim Bosman, hrop and sons Murray and ayne of Brussels. He also is ved by three grandchildren ey and Tim Bosman and John Wayne Lowe and by a ter Isobel, Mrs. Gordon , Workman. The remains were at ' the Watts funeral home, Brussels until Wednesday at ternoon when a service was conducted by Rev. E.LeDrew in Brussels United Church. Interment will follow in Brussles Cemetery. JOHN CAMERON COCHRANE John Cameron Cochrane, 80, of Gowanstown and formerly of Ethel, died Satruday at the Listowel Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cochrane was born in Wallace Township, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cochrane. Supplies He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Ethel United Church. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Leila Vodden in 1959. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bey (Doris) Binning, of Gowanstown,. Mrs. Norman 'G. (Jean) Miller' of Listowel, a son Stuart, of RR 2, Atwood, and 11 grandchildren. The body was at the Peebles funeral home in Atwood where the service was held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Burial followed in Mount Pleasant Cemtery, Ethel.
