Grey rec committee gets grant
A $399 grant from the Ministry
of Culture and Recreation was
forwarded to the Grey Township f.
Recreation. Secretary-Treasurer,
Mrs. .Frog Engle when Grey
Council met August 8.

Miss Joan Bremner was guest
of honour at a bridal shower held
in the United Church basement
on Wednesday evening. A tea
towel was passed around for
everyone to put their name on. A
short program was given. A
reading was given by Anne
Cooper and Barb Grube. Mr. and
Mrs. Al Sutton and Mrs. Mae
Godden entertained with songs.
Mrs. Ann Cooper gave the
address. The bride. expressed her
thanks and appreciation for the
gifts. Lunch was served by the
committee in .charge.
