ROSE DELMA DEITNER
Mrs: Rose Delma Deitner of
Grey Township passed away on
July 28, 1977 in Listowel
Memorial Hospital in her 74 year.
She was born August 28. 1903,
in Bathur st, New Brunswick,
the daughter of Anthony
Blanchard and Catherine
Arsenault. She came to Grey
Township in 1932. Here she
married William J. Deitner. She
is survived by her husband, one ,
son, 5 daughters, 19 grandchil-
dren and 3 brothers. She was •
predeceased by 1 sister and 3
brothers.
For a number of years she lived
near Brussels until her death.
Funeral service was conducted
by. Father Reverend, Anthony J.
'Sonderup of St. Ambrose Roman
Catholic Church. Burial was in St.
Ambrose Roman Catholic
Cemetery.

John Alexander McKenzie, 58
Sherwood Avenue, Toronto,,,, flied
at Little Current Hospital,
Manitoulin Island on. Monday,
August 1, 1977.
• He was born'in Belgrave and
died at the age of 69.- He- was the
sonnf the late Robert and. Helen
McKeniie, formerly of Belgrave.
He is survived by one sister,
Mrs. Sidney Geiger (Louise) Gore
Bay, M anitoulin Island and was
predeceased by three brothers,
Donald, George and Robert.
Funeral was held from Turner
Funeral Home; Gore Bay,
August .1. Tuesday evening at
8:30 p.m,. committal service at
. Brandon 'Cemetery, Belgrave on
Wednesday afternoon August 3.

Wingharn took graveside service.,
He was born May 1st, 1905, in
Woolwich Township, the son of
Dietrich Scheeler and Emma,
Jonas: He was married to. Hilda
Jonas in the Lutheran Church in
ICitchener, and resided, on the
3rd concession of Wallace Twp.
until moving to Ethel. He was
affiliated with the Mennonite
Church of Ethel.
He is survived by his wife,
their son Kenneth
Scheerer of Godericb, their
daughter, Mrs, Clifford
Querengesser of Ethel, twe
brothers; Harry Scheerer of West
Montrose and George Scheerer of
Galt, also 6 grandchildren and 5
great grandchildren.
Funeral services took place at
3:30 P.M. Monday August 1st at

FRANK KIRKBY
Long time Walton area
drainage contractor Frank Kirkby
died in Seaforth Community
Hospital on July 31, He was in. his
66th year.
Born in Morris, the son of the
late Herb and Nancy Kirkby, he
farmed for a number of years in
McKillop. Ab out thirty years
ago lie moved to Walton and
established a drainage
contracting business.
Active in the area he served for
a number of years on the Seaforth
District High School Board.
He is survived by his wife the
former Viola Machan and by two
sons Douglas of Walton and
Herbert of Woodstock, by three
grandsons and by brothers
George of Hanmer, Ontario and
Lew of London. He was
predeceased by his first wife the
former Jenny McKay in 1958,4 a
granddaughter Jenny and by two
• brothers Tom and Robert.
The remains rested at the
M.L.Watts funeral Home,
Brussels, until Wednesday
afternoon Aug. 3 when a funeral
service, was conducted' at Duff's
United Church, Walton by Rev. •
Edward Baker. Interment
followed in Brussels Cemetery
when pallbearers were: Jack
Bryans, Ron Bennett, Oscar
Rock, Walter Bewley, Ray
Huether and. Allan Searle. Flower
bearers were Ralph- Traviss,
Gordon Murray and Mack
Sholdice.

Sunday, July 31, 1977, at Saginaw
, General Hospital. Funeral
