Several neighbours and friends came with chain saws to help clean up the debris. Another tree was uprooted at the home of Mr. and • Mrs. Clarence Rath and a large limb was broken off at Mrs. Lawrence Vannon's. Church ladies hold shower The ladies of Trinity Anglican church held a bridal shower in honour of Miss Marjorie Procter at the home of Mrs. Clare Van Camp on Friday evening'. Contests were conducted by Mrs. Alex Nethery, Mrs. Harold Jardin and Miss Mary Isobell Nethery. An address was read' by Miss Lillian Potter expressing best wishes to Marjorie from everyone. Miss Nora Van Camp read a poem entitled "How to preserve a Husband". The bride to be then opened her gifts assisted by her mother, Mrs. Robert Procter. After Marjorie thanked everyone for the gifts, lunch was served by the hostess and Mrs. Clarke Johnston.
