Huron County for 4-H
homemaking programs, and tha
Huron County had the largest
number in Ontario. -
Donald' Pullen, Huron's
Agricultural representataive, said
that because of this large number
of homemaking clubs it had
become necessary, to have two
home economists for the county
beginning in September. Miss
Bea. McClenaghan will be coming
to Huron as, home economist next
week. She has been working in
Ontario and: York Counties and
the second home economist will
follow shortly in two weeks, Miss
Gracie Bird,"z recent gradaate of
Guelph UniVersity. They"' will1
succeed Miss Jane Pengelley who
left H uron for Wellington County
earlier this year.

agricultural representataive in
, Huron from 1948 to 1951, spoke of
the competitive spirit that 441
leaders instill in young people to
make own initiative,

spoke of .the assistance given by
County council to the 4-11
Leaders' Club and said that Odra
grant money had meant so much
