Broa, a01( mart amil NEW INDUSTRY IN WALTON — Gerald and Nelson Ryan are expanding their corn drying facilities in. Walton and plan to be ready for harvest this year. Two concrete silos and the weigh station under construction above will be in operation, according to Gerald Ryan. The Ryans have done a bit' of drying on Belgrave •is scene of the Walton site, just south of the railway tracks for a few years. Ray Van Camp and Rod White of Belgrave were doing cement work for the new scales. Several workmen on the site . were smoking cigars as Mr. Van Camp's wife ,had just had a baby girl. About 60 Cook relatives gathered at the ' Belgrave Community Centre on Sunday afternoon for their seventh re union. Games and races were enjoyed by young and old. The oldest person attending was Mrs. Fred Cook of Goderich and youngest person was Craig Cook of Ripley. After a smorgasbord supper the president Ross Robinson of Auburn conducted a short business period. Ross Robinson read the minutes of last year in the absence of the secretary treasurer Mrs. Russel .
