Township Council will, rebuild sideroad 10, concession 13 - 14 and at the council session Monday night it was decided the first st ep would be to determine the road allowance. Engineer Chris Kair of Goderich will be engaged to make the measurements for this. Council will advertise for the supplying and hauling of approximately 20,000 cu. yards of sand cushion or 18,000 cu. yards of B gravel to cover the road and also approximately 4,000 cu. yards, of A gravel for a top dressing. Engineer Rudy Engel was at the meeting to consider the Givlin Drain report. Only one assessed owner; Willard Bennewies, attended out of interst and had no complaints. Court of Revision for the drain will be held at the next general meeting on Tuesday, August 2 at 2 p.m. Charles Corbett of Lucan was named engineer for repairs to the Elligson Drain. Council authorized the payment of $50 to the Brussels. Fall Fair Board. No action was taken on a request from Mrs. Mary Carroll writing for financial help on behalf of the new Seaforth' Co-operative Day Nursery School to be started in the basement of the Seaforth Library Road Superintendent William Campbell was awarded the fourth year certificate seal for completion of another term at the roads school conducted by the Ontario Good Roads Association at Guelph University last May. Approval was given for a request for a tile drain loan for $3,500. The Leonhardt drain has been completed at a total cost of $5,852.40. The estimated cost was $6,700. Huron County 4-H leaders plan 25th anniversary Butler, Gordon Bennett, Gerry Montgomery, Doug Miles, Dave Inglis, Art , Bolton, Gerry Chamberlain, Don Grieve, Morris Huff, Doug Keys and Jim Arnold. Past Home Economists attending the reunion include Jean Steckle, Flora Durnin, Diane (Liddiard) Pirhonen, Kit (Hunt) Scott, Sharon (Carroll) Hart, Jean Scott, Pat (Damude) Squire, Shirley (Patterson) McAllister and Susan (Heard) Wheatley. Tickets for the banquet are available from 4-H Aricultural Club Leaders in the various communities in Huron. As the 4-H programme has touched the lives of so many people in the county, past 4-H club leaders and members who cannot attend the banquet are invited to attend the reunion part of the programme at 2:00 p.m. The Huron County ,4-H Youth Council are rounding off the day's activities with a 4-H . Dance at the Blyth Arena. Tickets for the dance are available from 4-H Youth Council Representa- tives throughout the county. The Huron County 4-H Club Leaders' Association hope the many past and present 4-H club members and leaders will take the opportunity to return to Blyth and renew acquaintances of former friends. From this • meeting the Huron County 4-H Club Leaders' Association was formed and the 4-H name was adopted as a prefix to all Junior Clubs in the county. I '977 marks the 25th Anniversary of this event and the Huron County 4-H Club Leaders' Association are planning a day of Celebration and Reunion of past and present 4-H leaders, members, parents, Agricultural Representative staff and Home Economists on Saturday, July 23rd, 1977 at the Blyth Arena. The celebrations are taking the form of a banquet at 12:00 P.M. and a reunion in the afternoon. Guest Speaker for the banquet will' be R.W.(Bob)Carbert, General Manager of the Ontario Agricultural Museum in Milton and former Farm Editor for CKNX in Wingham.
