POST, JULY 13, 1977 Area .weddings WATSON— YANYU Dave Watson, London, son of Berva and Gerald Watson, R7R-.1, Blyth and Susan Yanyu, daughter of Ethel and Paul Yanyu, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, were married July 8 by Father Anthony Sonderup at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Brussels. Mary Anne Blake, London, was maid of honour and bridesmaids were Annette Yanyu, Esterhazy and Sandra Harris, Toronto. Warren Dennis, Midland, was groomsman and guests were ushered by Robert Nefson, Richmond, B.C. and Roderick Shivak, Stockholm, Saskatchewan. Dena and Debbie Wey played guitar and sang during the ceremony. Following a reception and dinner at Family Paradise, the couple left for a honeymoon in Northern Ontario. (Photo by Phillips) MUTTER—LEATHONG Barbara Leathong of Tillsonburg and Paul Mutter of Kitchener were united in marriage in St. John's Anglican Church, Tillsonburg in a four o'clock wedding ceremony on Saturday, June 11. Rev. Canon Garden Houghton was the officiating clergyman. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A.Leathong of Tillsonburg. Mr. and ,Mrs. George Mutter of Brussels are parents of the groom. Maid of honor was Patti Tanner of Tillsonbing, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brenda Pokorny of Tillsonbtitg, friend of the bride, Mrs. • Karen Chambers, Wrojceter i sister of the groom and Rosemary Zei, Tillsonburg, friend of the bride. Peter Gibson of Stratford, friend of the groom , was best •man. Guests were ushered by Keith Brighton, friend of the groom, Brussels; Harold Mutter, brother of the groom, Kitchener and Wayne Starr, London, friend of the groom. The 46th Annual Procter reunion was held on Sunday afternoon in the Women's Institute Hall; Belgrave with 78 signing the register, Games and races was the activity for the children while the, older one enjoyed visiting. After supper was served president Alvin Procter conducted a short business meeting. Officers, for the 1978 reunion are President-Frank Procter, Vice President-Charles Procter, Secretary Treasuer-Donald Procter. • Relatives attending were from Blyth, Brussels, Tavistock, London, Belgrave, Ailsa Craig, Winghan, Richmond Hill, Clinton, Ingersoll, Sarnia, Chepstow, Listowel, Grimsby, Lucknow, Goderich, Cambridge, Londesboro and Toronto. Reception 'honours VcinCamps kreception and dance was held in the Women's Institute Hall on Saturday evening in . honour of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Van Camp (nee Jane Sanders). Music was supplied by the Alley Cats. After lunch was served the young couple were called to the front. Lloyd, Michie read the address and Alex Nethery presented them with a gift of money. Both Jane and Gary expressed their thanks. Donald Coultes of Wawanesa, Manitoba visited last weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Coultes. Last weekend visitors with Mrs. Harold Procter were Mr. and Mrs. John Spivey, Barbara and Brenda and Brain, of Ingersoll, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Spivey of London. They, also visited with her father, Mr. Procter who is a patient in Wingham and District Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nicholson and Sherri of Alliston spent the weekend with hisparents Mr. and Mrs. Garner Nicholson. Sherri remained for a week's holidays with her grandparents. Mr. and mrs. Jim Doirs of Brampton visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. William Coultes and family. Mrs. Marjorie Procter of Sarnia spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. Robert Probter and Maxine Howard Zettler of Chepstow was also a visitors "at the same home. On Saturday allattended the Kelly-Abell wedding in Blyth St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church and on Sunday all attended the Procter reunion.
