GRAND MASTER IN BRUSSELS — John Broadfoot, Brucefield, newly installed
Grand Master of 100F of Ontario was a special visitor to Brussels last week when
Dave McCutcheon of Brussels was installed as District Deputy Grand Master. Top
lodge officials at the installation were, front left, Warden Haney, Doug. Cantelon,
Mr. McCutcheon, rear, Alec M eikle, Mr. Broadfoot, Murray Taylor and Jim Rose.

honour them on their 30th
wedding anniversary.

Huron
plowing
match
Sept. 17
Planning for the 50th Plowing
Match sponsored by the Huron
Plowmen's Association is well
underway. The match will take
place on Saturday, September 17
on the Stephen Township farm of
Allan Walper, near Grand Bend.
The coaching and junior match
will be held two days earlier on
Thursday, September 15.
While the Association was
formed in 1924 no matches were
held during the war year 1942 -
43.44 according to R. T. Bolton ,
the Association secretary- ; treasurer.
Plana for the 50th Match were
advanced at a meeting in
Winthrop on June 28.
A special attraction this yea;
will include a solar heat system
Which heats the Walper home.
Other attractions include horse ghee pitching with two classes; ladies and niths hail driving contests Arid a log Sawing contest
with two classes.
The meeting also approved plans to hold a banquet at Pine Ridge Chalet on Octobet 206,
