CELEBRATE 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY —
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thomas celebrated their
fiftieth wedding anniversary recently. The former
Verna Dennis and Harold Thomas were united in
marriage by the Rev. A.V.Walden at the home of the
bride's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs.Ernest Dennis
of Browntown. •
The University of Guelph held its Spring Convocation
May 24 - 27, conferring some 1,578 undergraduate
degrees and 87 graduate degrees. Among those
students to receive the Bachelor of Applied Science
degree was Deborah Wey of, R.R.4, Walton, Ontario,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Wey. Shown
(left) are Mr. Wey, Deborah Wey, Mrs. Wey, Dena
Wey and Margaret Hillstrand.
