Councillors will
correct Post
At a special council meeting held on May 27, Torn Pletch and
Malcolni Jacobs were reappointed as councillors of the Village of
Brussels, Both men accepted their seats back because of the
n umerous requests from taxpayers to return to council and finish
cleaning up things they had just started.
Neither Mr. Pletch nor Mr. Jacobs felt they had acted too
hastily when they resigned May 16th in protest to the
reappoointment of Wm. King as clerk. Both men now realize
they have the support of many concerned ,taxpayers, and will
continue to fulfill their duties on council.
One of their first duties will be to clarify and correct the
numerous statements written in the Brussels Post and London
Free Press,
Tom Pletch
Malcolm Jacobs
