The new tep forward in the accessibility of grandstand at the Clinton Alpha Huron notes another Huronview The Gorrie Women!s Institute were hosts for the May Brithday party. The afternoon program included a- "Fashion show" with fashions from 1880 to 1977. Mrs. Bob,Srong was commentator for the show and Mrs. Wilbur Hogg played musical selections related to each of the years. The show' brought back many fond memories to the residents, and was enjoyed by everyone. Mts. J. Ferguson and Mrs. B. Strong sang a duet number and led sing a long of old songs. Following the program the celebrants each received a gift and lunch was served by the ladies. Mrs. Ritchie expressed the appreciation of the residents to the Institute for the party. Ed. Stiles entertained for the Thursday afternoon with an hour. of favourite organ music. THE .BRUSSELA. P. Paul Kerrigan, President of the Clinton Kinsmen, reports that, studies are underway to find a suitable yet economical plan. . When facilities such as the Clinton Raceway become accessible;-it is then up 'to us - the handicapped to get out, use them, enjoy them and show there is a need for these and future innovations. All towns must provide advanced polling, stations that are accessible to the handicapped. Alpha assisted in finding a suitable location in Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. George Turton of 319' Huron Road offered the use of their home. At Alpha's May meeting in the Brussel's school, a motion was pased to investigate the 0 0 0. • accessibility of local theatres. A form letter was also approved that will be available to interested persons or groups requesting information on Alpha's activities. Our next meeting is scheduled for June 28 at 8 p.m. in the Holmesville School. Mr. Wally Kennedy, CNIB District Administrator, London Office, • will be the guest speaker. We realize this is a busy time of year, but we are hoping for a good turnout. As always, everyone is welcome.
