Presbyterian Church May 16, in Chalmers Presbyterian Church, Whitechurch. Mrs. Don Ross presided at the organ for the hymns and musical numbers. The invocation by Mrs. Don Rob ert son, president was followed by devotions by the Brussels group. Mrs. Matheson read the scripture Act 28:31, meditation was given by Mrs. Innes and Mrs. Mair led in prayer. Mrs. John DeBoer gave the address of. welcome. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. Ewen MacLean; correspondence by Mrs. Don MacAdam; and the treasurer's report was given by Mrs. Evan Keith. A duet by Mrs. Wm. Gibson and Mrs. H. S. Wardrop was much enjoyed. Honorary membership certificates were presented to Mrs. Lloyd Felker by Mrs. George MacDonald, both of Molesworth; and to Mrs. Don. Robertson by Mrs. Torn MacDonald, both of. Kinlough. Mrs. Felker and Mrs. Robertson thanked the societies. Mrs. J. W. English introduced Frank Whilsmith, telling of his work with the various organizations to which, he He spoke of the challenges' of today's youth, demonstrations, etc., economical freedom, and the seeking of religious freedom. We must be intellectually and, morally strong and strong in faith and religion, he said. He told 0'7' Hollywood Presbyterian Church which sent out in 1974, 500 to 600 young folk to witness and tell of the love of Jesus Christ, singing Amazing Grace, and who made a film, 'Living the Jesus Way'. Mrs. Nugent of Ripley gave the 'In Memoriam'. The delegates to the Synodical in Stratford, Mrs. Gibson, Mole sworth, Mrs. P. Steer, South Kinloss, Mrs. G. Mundell, Bluevale and Mrs. J. , Martin of Brussels, each , gave very interesting reports. The offering was accepted and prayer given by Mrs. K. Dickson, Belmore. The closing prayer was given by Mrs. Burton of Kincardine. The ladies of Chalmers provided a lunch in the Community Memorial Hall, Whitechurch. Evening Session The evening session began with an organ prelude by Mrs. Don Ross followed by a hymn. Devotions were taken by the Lucknow group - scripture by Mrs. R.E.Forster, meditation by. Mrs. K. Laidlaw and 'prayer by Mrs. Lloyd Moffat. Mrs. Gordon Rintoul welcomed the folks to the evening session, followed by an enjoyable chorus by four young ladies. Mr. Kay was called on and spoke encouragingly of the work done throughout the world by Mr.' Whilsmith who was again Belgrave winners named Nine tables Of'euchre Were Played last Wednesday evening in the W.I.
