Definite interest was shown in
the Triennial Tweedsmuir
competition for an afghan and it
was decided to remind the
membership of this competition
again in October.
A donation of $10.00 will be
made to the Brussels Fair Board -
Ladies Div. and the treasurer ws
instructed to -pay the fair board
membership fee of $1.00 for each
fair board director. A donation of
$10.00 will be given to Grey P.S.
to be used at the principal's
discretion for an award connected
with the bicycle rodeo or other
school competition.
A bus trip will be held June 8,
with the bus leaving Cranbrook
Hall at 8 a.m. the cost being $4.00
per person. The itinerary will

treasurer's report and reported
on contributions of clothing. Mrs.
Stanley Fischer will be hostess for
June.

well known local artist. Mrs.
Perrie showed her equipment and

silence was observed in memory
of the late Mrs. John Schnock, a
life member of the group, and a
faithful attendant at the
meetings.

There will be a guest at the
June meeting to d iscuss visiting
sick and shut-ins with the group.

with prayer and lunch was served
by Mrs. Earl Dunn, Mrs. Gordon

Memorial Service at Blyth United
Church on Sundy afternoon for
the late Stewart Young of
Thunder Bay. The committal
service followed at. Union
Cemetery. Family and friends
gathered after at the home of Mr,
and Mrs. Wm. Y oung, Blyth.
Mrs. Glenn Huether was .a
guest at the Wilbee - Patterson
wedding in Clinton on Saturday.
The groom is a nephew of Mrs.
Huether.
Mr. and Mrs.Walter Johnson,
daughters ' Anne and Lynda,
London, visited on Saturday with
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Engel and
family. _
