night. Council decided that this
wasn't possible because of the
amount of vandalism that might
occur.
The Brussels Leo Club asked
council if they could place
garbage cans along main street :
Council agreed as long as the
Leos put chains and padlocks on
them and made the keys available
to the garbage man.
Dan Blenkhorn, the dog catcher
for Brussels, reported to council
he had sold 65 tags to date and
had taken two dogs to. Wingham.
The Maitland Valley Conserva-
tion Authority asked council if
they had any work in the area to
be done.
Councillor Frank Stretton said
there were a lot of trees fallen
down around the dam which
could be removed.
Council decided to use oil on
the roads this year as they,
thought it did a better job than
calcium.
