The sale was made up of 1429 cattle and 833 pigs. Choice Steers - 41.00 to 43.00 with sales to 43.25. Good Steers - 39.00 to 41.00. A steer consigned by Clare Martin of R.R.2, Drayton weighing 1240 lbs. topped the market at 43.25. Forty-one steers consigned by Grant McDonald of Ripley averaging 1200 lbs. sold for 42.30.
