Before leaving for Paris renda and Susan got on the wrong plane which was headed or the Canary Islands. We rrived at Paris airort at 10:30- a.m, In Paris it was 4:30 p.m. and it was 55*F. After arriving at our motel we went on a bus tour of the city. It as really beautiful. One thing vhich was really noticeable was he magnificent sculptures. Also he way the people drive in Paris Is unbelievable.? The next day we boarded a ain for Nice which is on the editerranean Sea. The trip on he train showed us beautiful cenes of mountains and. ountryside. When we arrived in ice a bus took us to our motel hen the group went for dinner. The next day we went for a bus our to Grasse which is the capital of the perfume industry. On Tuesday everyone was up bright and early ready to set out for Monaco which is a small- country about 40 km. from. Nice. The road which our bus driver chose was a road which Napoleon had built. It took us about 6400 ft. above sea level and the view was fantastic. When we arrived in Monaco some of the students visited an Oceanography museum. Then we could walk around the city. We saw the church where Princess Grace was married. Monaco is really nice. The streets are very tiny - not big enough for a car to drive down. After doing a bit of shopping we then went to the palace and watched the changing of the guard. On the way back to the bus a few of us walked through a park. Then our bus took us to Monte Carlo. Here we went to the gambling casinos. Some of us played the slot machines but no one made a fortune. When we left the city we travelled on the famous grand prix raceway although we didn't The April meeting of the Walton Area Sports Club was held at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Jack Neleinans. All former ball coaches attended to discuss the travel quite as fast. Just one more stop on the way home and that was at a castle. Of course the castle was on top of a hill which we had to climb up but it was worth it. There were stores all up the mountain. Wednesday was a free day and everyone took advantage of it and went shopping. On Thursday we took a trip to iSt,Pauls which is a city which has a wall built around it. On the way to the town we stopped at Venice which is a small town which h as pottery shops all over. Saint Paul's is a beautiful little town. It is famous for its art. On Friday Brenda and Susan took a trip to Cannes which is the yacht capital of the Riviera. It was here that the girls went in the Mediterranean up to their knees. That night everyone left for Paris on the night train.. • The next morning we took the subway to the Eiffel Tower and to the artists' village. Then we left Paris on a 707 Boeing Jet. We made a stop over in Malaga, Spain and then we headed home. We arrived home about 2:30 in the morning which was 8:30 in the morning over in Paris - so somewhere we lost 2 days sleep. It was worth it. rules and regulations for 1977. Hall registration is to be at the park on April' 16 from 2 - 4 p.m. The next meeting will be held at the home of Davie and 'Carol Collins bn May 2.
