At the 5th Annual K-W Women's Bowling Tournament held in Waterloo, two Brussels natives came through strong. The team of Shirley Pipe (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Pipe), Shirley Lyon (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Fischer), Marianne Broderich and. Joan Bowman all of Kitchener placed THE BRUSSELS POST, APRIL 6, 1977,-11 win at bowling 2nd in the teams events bringing home $55 in prize money. Shirley Pipe tools 1st in the singles event winning a troply, crest and $45. Shirley Lyon placed 6th in all events winning $5 in prize money. They are all attending a tournament in Rochester I•J'Ar• at the end of the month. in Clinton they placed second to' Walkerton over such teams as Ripley, Arthur, Clinton, and Seaforth.
