The Tuesday afternoon curlers
ended, another successful season
with their annual meeting and fun
day. The new executive for
1977-78 are: Past President -
Wilma Rathwell ;. President -
Edna Pearson; 1st Vice - Kendra
Drauter; 2nd, Vice-Yvonne
Knight; Sec.-Treas. - Carole "
Innis; Social Committee - Betty
Finch, Helen Bray; Prizes -
Donelda Pearson, Bonnie Wilson;
Sunshine and Press Reporter -
Fran Bremner.
Mrs. Hugh Pearson presented
the Scott Memorial Trophy to
Carole Innis and her rink,
Vice - Jennette Locking ;2nd.
Edith Warwick,; Lead - Mary
Thomas. They were the overall.
winners_ with 39 points in the
January draw.
Marg Exel was thanked and
presented with a plant in
appreciation of her work during
the year. •
Orville Bauer was given a
round thanks for his work on
the ice.. .
Murray Hoover was present to
.answer any questions he could as
to the future of the club.
Two six end games of curling
were followed by an enjoyable,
social hour.-
Everyone received a lovely

spring plant. The winners were:
1st. - Fran Bremner and her rink;
Vice - Velma Locking; 2nd. Helen
Bray, Lead, Dora Fischer. In 2nd
place were Nora Stephenson,
Madeline Steiss, Donna Knight
and Karen Cardiff.

SKATING CHAMPIONS — Carol and Kevin
Wheeler won' first in their classes at the Western
Ontario Figure Skating competition in Sarnia
recently. Carol bettered 37 competitors from 25
skating clubs in winning the 4th . test ladles class.
Kevin placed first in the 2nd test men's class against
