Spring must be here in reality
arena committee raised $16,000
through a similar project at last
year's plowing match in Bruce
County. The Brussels Figure
Skating Club had investigated
running a booth at the 1978 match
but found it was too big a project
for one club.
Mr. Campbell said a
community group made up of
many clubs could probably staff a
booth and former Brussels reeve

as well as officially. The birds are
declaring ,that it is spring. The
kids are everywhere on their
bikes. Folks are shedding their
winter garb for all weather coa ts
and rain hats. With the rain there
is mud here, there, and alas,
tracked into the homes by kids,
dogs and those who forget to wipe
their feet. The summer like
,weather these last days is
encouraging spring flowers to
make an early appearance. Forbid
that frost should kill them.
