begin playoffs
The Belgrave ockey teams
have all -completed their regular
Tri County schedUles and are
starting the play offs,
In the Midget divsion. Belgrave
finished second to Kurtzville r \ and
are presently playing off with
Clifford. The Belgrave 4aqa,irns
finished second to l3elmdre
started the play offs with
Kurtzville last Monday night. A
second place finish for the
Belgrave Pee Wees puts them in
the semi-finals with. Normandy.
`The Belgrave Squirts also
finished second and are starting
play offs with Kurtzville to night
in Belgrave weather permitting.

The Belgrave Tykes completed''
an undefeated schedule last week
and start the play offs with myth
this week. Last Saturda 'y the
Tykes travelled to the Lucknow
tournament and did very well.
They beat Belmore 6-0 in the
morning in 'the afternoon game
the 'score was 4-0 for Belgrave
over Blyth then Saturday night in
the Championship game Belgrave
tried hard and played well but
ended up on the short end of a'3
to 1 garne,with Brussels. Brussels
therefore, won the Championship
trophy,

Canada has urged consumers to
shop for specials, but at least one
of its leaders, Ruth Jackson of
Kitchener, has expressed concern!
about the adverse side effects of
some specials.
The Canadian Federation of
Retail Grocers, representing
owners of smaller, independent
food stores, has also deplored the
effects of loss-leader specials.
