Cartoon Character, 15 & under First, Gary Godkin; Second, Kelly Workman.; Cartoon Character 16 Brussles hadn't had a good old skating carnival for a few years, and when the Brussels Figure Skating Club got to work, they produced a big success Saturday night. Young and old came dressed in varieties of costumes and had a great time skating and joining in on the fun. Scott announced the Mrs. Mac Engel Correspondent Rev. A Young, of Goderich conducted the service in Knox Church on Sunday morning. Rev. Young has been supply minister for Cranbrook and Monkton Churches the greater part of their vacancy, which occurred when Rev. C.A. Falconer moved to Strathroy in 1976. The Rev. Dr. J.K. Ross Thomson, formerly of St. Catharines will be inducted at a joint service in Monkton Presbyterian Church on Wednesday evening, March 2. He will commence his duties as their minister next Sunday, March 6. The World Day of Prayer service will be held on Friday March 4 at 1:30 at the home-of Mrs. John Vanass. All ladies are welcome. Mrs. MeEachern is the former Minnie Menarey, youngest daughter of the late Hebert and Mrs. Menarey. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents 9th Con. Grey Township. Rev. J. L, McCullough, minister of Knox Presbyterian Church, Cranbrook, performed the ceremony. The couple recall thunder, lightning and heavy rain on that day. They had two sons, Winston, Cambridge (Galt) and Gerald who lost his life in World 'War 11. The course on "Quilts" sponsored by the Cranbrook W.I. got off to a good start on Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Leslie Knight. Over 20 attended with leaders Mrs. Jack Conley and Mrs. jack.
