When the point is directed to' the eater, then the obvious inference is that the minister hits home when he preaches. It seems to me that some research should be done on this problem, particularly from an historical point of view. Could not the Toronto School of Theology take the matter up, perhaps establishing a centre for the study of the matter? It might be possible then to have a new dimension added to the church history courses, which Dr. Fowler should be required to audit. It would be interesting to discover'how pies pointed in 18th century Scotland when some sermons were described as "cold moral essays, read to cold but not too moral congregations." The centre could be called "The Centre for the Demythologization of Pie Pointing" or better still "for the Demythologization of Piety." Perhaps Canada Council would fund it. Just one more thing:- 1 always had the ladies in my congregations point the pies at the eaters. I just thought you would like to know. Mr. Wheeler, A U-Need-a-Cab driver, was last seen alive at 9:45 P.M. Thursday, February 17, when he left Thamesville to return,. toLondon. He was seen slouched behind the wheel of his cab at 11:10 p.m. in the •parking lot off thelilglibury Raquets .Club at 1100 Highbury Avenue. It is not known whether he was dead at that time. A money changer was still attached to the dash and a briefcase was found on the front seat of the car. Police are trying to discover what occurred between the time of Mr. Wheeler's appearance in Thamesville and the time when he was first seen at the Raquets Club. Mrs. Barb Watts; deputy commissioner, will attend the It has been confirmed that Mr. Wheeler did not take any calls from the cab company after he reported for work at 3 , p.m. Thursday.
