Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith have
returned home to Lethbridge,
Alta., after visiting with his
mother and his father
W.W.Smith who is critically ill in
Wingham and District Hospital.
Mrs. Earl Cudmore returned
home last week after spending
the holiday season with Mr. and
M rs. Bill Nay and family of
Gorrie.
Rev. and Mrs.Bill Burnett of
Toronto are visitors with his
sister Mrs. W.W.Smith.
Evening Unit meets
The Evening U.C.W. meeting
was held at the home of the new
president, Mrs. Bob Richmond.
Betty. Graber read a poem "God
built your Year". Members
joined in -singing "Soft and
Tenderly Jesus is calling".
A reading of "New Yew.
Thoughts" was given by Nelva
Scott.
Scripture and prayer was read
by Rene Richmond.
Betty Graber gave a reading,

The president conducted the
business, 11 members
were present.
The Presbyterial will be held on
January 25 in Seaforth. Anyone
wishing to attend is asked to

The February meeting will be
held at Lark McDonald. Program

addition firemen will receive $5
per hour, up to $4.40 for fighting
fires and $3.30 an hour for
meetings.
Council re-appointed Gerald

the Maitland Valley Conservation
Authority, where he's served the
