Thomas Lawrence Alexander, 33, of Bluevale, appeared in Wingham District Court on Dec­ ember 17 to face a charge of mischief in which he is alleged to have thrown a grocery bag contain- ing canned-goods through the window of Ontario Minister of Health, Murray Elston’s constitu­ ency office in Wingham. Tasteful decorations added a festive touch to the evening with the programme entitled “Good News, are you Listening’’ under the leadership of Mrs. Helen Elliott and Mrs. Jean Bewley. Mrs. Elliott read the Christmas Story from Luke 2 and A Little Boy’s Dream, an imaginary story of Jesus never having been born was read by Mrs. Bewley. Several carols were sung accompanied by Mrs. Mary Dou- ma followed by a prayer circle led by Mrs. Elliott. CHRISTmAi A hearty greeting to all our friends.
