Bob Bremner wins draw The Canadian Foresters held their regular monthly meeting on Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. The Foresters are holding a dance at the Cranbrook Hall on Feb. 6, 1987 and April 3, 1987. Foresters are having card par­ ties on Jan. 16 and Jan. 30, 1987. Christmas wishes We wish all our readers the Blessings of the Season. We hope to do better in 1987 with the help of the community. I People around Cranbrook Mrs. Wm, Milne, Mitchell, occupied the pulpit in Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning, December 14. The Smith families, with mem­ bers numbering approximately 100 had their Christmas on Dec. 13 in the Cranbrook Community Centre. On Sunday, Dec. 14 the Bentley family had their Christmas in the Community Centre. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ball and children have rented the house owned by Peter Hagadoor moved in recently. Garnet Starrand daughter Kim, Chatham, visited on the weekend with Don and Mrs. Cotton. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Conley and their families will hold their Christmas at the Listowel Curling Club. We are sorry to learn that a former resident, Mrs. Stanley Fischer, now of Listowel, had the misfortune to suffer a fractured hip in a fall at her home. She is at present a patient in Stratford Hospital. Mrs. Ron Burdett and son Brent Gordon, Waterloo, visited on Sunday with Mrs. Mac Engel.
