Christmas was held for the Higgins family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Edgar of Alienford on Dec. 14. The Post Office is a very busy spot these days, and what better time than this to say ‘ ‘Thank You” to our post mistress Liz Shouldice and her staff for the excellent, friendly and courteous service which is provided. There was a large crowd at the third week of Turkey Bingo. Winners of turkeys were: Eileen was won by Rob Burkholder. Marjorie Hartleib was the lucky door prize winner of a turkey. The results of the final week of MOTORS INC. ^>g Hagitt, Gloria Bowman, Ken Graber, Wayne Lowe, Cathy Sny­ der, Linda Janes, Isabel Janes, Glenn Bridge, Sherri Huether, Waneta Leishmann, Joanne Mc­ Donald, Mary Lowe, Dorothea McArter and Lisa Blake. The first special of $25, was shared by Cathy Snyder, Barb Knight and Eileen Hall. The second special of $25 was won by Marjorie Hartleib. The third spe­ cial of $25 was shared by Karen Parker and Jean Bewley. The Share the Wealth of $57.25 Turkey Bingo, December 19, will be given in the next column due to the earlier deadline for the Christ­ mas issue. On Wednesday, December 17, a Legion service was held at the Watts Funeral Home for Ladies’ Auxiliary member Elsie Shaw. She was a 40-year member of the Auxiliary. Members sent their condolences to her family. Wednesday evening, December 31, there will be a New Year’s Eve party at the Legion.
