The Citizen, 1986-12-10, Page 36PAGE 36. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1986.
The LondesboroLions Club wishes to thank all of
those who contributed to the overwhelming
success the “Back the Biter’’ campaign has
become thanks to the generous contributions.
We are faced with another problem - what to do
with the extra funds. While the original concept
was to provide wheels for Ron the Lions group
hasdecided to continue this theme by assisting in
the purchase of an electric wheelchair and also
a wheelchair for use with the van. Any additional
surplus will be kept in the Londesboro Lions
Charitable Trust Fund to assist Ron or anyone
else should major funding be required in a
similar situation. In addition to those listed we
would like to recognize all who participated and
donated anonymously.
