To the winners go the spoils and after bidding $35 for the top box lunch at the “Back The Biter” day it was time to enjoy the spoils, in this case a beautifully arranged lunch complete with refreshments. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 1986. PAGE 5. A “Vanorama of Fashion” was one of the highlights of the weekend events, with the well-crafted show playing to a packed house Friday night. One of the models, above, shows off a fake fur in the production “Vanorama Dazzle.” The show, which was sponsored by the Londesboro Women’s Institute and convened by Margaret Anderson, Edith Taylor, Mary Divok and Lynda Horbanuik, raised $1,700 for the fund. A major presentation from the Londesboro Lions Clubs’ “Back the Biter” Day came in early last Saturday when the Blyth Legion presented a cheque for $1,000 to the fund.
