Brussels man dies in Listowel hospital JAMES CLIFFORD HART James Clifford Hart, RR 2, Brussels died Nov. 22, 1986 in Listowel Memorial Hospital. He was 56 years of age. Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, the former Lois Webster, two sons. David and his wife Susan of Exeter and Jerry and his wife Susan of RR 2, Bluevaleandfour daughters: Joan and her husband Don Arm­ strong, Brussels; Donna and her husband John Elston, Arva; Cathy of London and Bev at home. Four grandchildren also survive- He was predeceased by his parents, George Hart and Susanna (Carmichael) Hart. Two sisters, Etta, (Mrs. Fred Buchanan), Kin­ burn, and Jean (Mrs. Ross Ander­ son), Mitchell and three brothers Robert and John of Brussels, and Charles of Goderich survive. Thefuneralwasheldfrom the Brussels Chapel of the M. L. Watts Funeral Homes on November 25. Rev. Brian Nevin officiated. Inter­ ment was in Baird’s Cemetery, Varna. Donations to Knox Presby­ terian Church Memorial Fund are being accepted. Pallbearers were Lloyd Smith, Eric Prescott, Stewart Steiss, Larry Keffer, Gary Evans and Bill Dowson. Wingham man had Blyth relatives Doing it all for The Biter, Londesboro ladies of two separate groups of United Church Women put on a baking bee last Wednesday, and produced more than 100 pies in less than four hours. Pies will be sold by the piece at Saturday’s fund-raising event to raise money to purchase a van for Lion Ron Nesbitt, known to his friends as The Biter. Three of the 12 ladies taking part in the marathon pie session are [from left] Hazel Reid, Betty Hulley and Helen Lee. The UCW’s have also had promises of another hundred pies to be brought in the day of the sale. HARRY JACKSON A. H. (Harry) Jackson of Wing­ ham died Friday, Nov. 21, 1986 in Wingham and District Hospital. He was 73 years of age. He was married to the former Ruby Young and is also survived by one daughter, Dianne and her husband Garth Walden, RR 3, Blyth and Arthur and his wife Celia Jackson of Toronto. Four grand­ children, Christa, Tim and Jillian Walden and Sarah Jackson also survive. A sister, Edna, Mrs. Archie Montgomery of Blyth also survives. He was predeceased by his sister Frances Montgomery. A private family funeral service was held at the McBurney Funeral Home in Wingham on Sunday, Nov. 23 with Don Vair officiating. Interment was in Blyth Union Cemetery.
