arranged for Santa to pay his
annual visit to Blyth on Saturday,
December 6.
Films will be shown at the Blyth
Memorial Hall beginning at 2 p.m.
and Santa will arrive at approxi

The Liberal party is on the long

Boudria, M.P. for Glengarry-
Prescott-Russell told the 150 peo
ple at the annual meeting of the
Huron-Bruce Liberal Association
Thursday night in Holmesville.
Mr. Boudria, a member of the
Liberals ‘ ‘ Rat-pack”, credited par
ty leader John Turner with rebuild
ing the party organization poll by
poll, riding by riding across the
country.
In two years since the devastat-
ingdefeat, hesaid, the Liberals
have made gains in the Yukon
territorial election, increased re

The Lions Christmas Dance on
Saturday, December 13 is sold out.

the Christmas Dance on December

Monday visitors with Mrs. Clara

Mrs. Martin Misiner and Tim-
mie of Guelph were overnight
visitors Tuesday with her grand
mother, Mrs. Clara Rinn.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Daer visited
with Lome, and June Daer and
family of New Hamburg last
weekend.
Ten tables were in play Nov. 17
at the weekly Monday night euchre
party at Blyth Memorial Hall.
Mildred McNall had the high
scorefortheladiesandTed Mills of
Auburn had the high score for the
men. Lois Haines of Auburn was
low lady and Millar Richmond, low
man. Margaret Brooks of Goderich
had the most lone hands for the
presentation in Newfoundland’s
provincial legislature from six to 16
members, formed governments in
Ontario, Quebec and Prince Ed
ward Island. And, he predicted,
the Liberals would win an election
