Auburn businessman, Ross Robinson dies DAVID ROSS ROBINSON David Ross Robinson of Auburn, passed away at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Monday, November 10, 1986 in his 73rd year. He had been in failing health for the past year. Born in East Wawanosh Town­ russels area resident dies at home MRS. ANNIE REESOR Mrs. Annie Reesor, RR 2, Brussels, died November 10, 1986 at her residence. She was 77 years of age. Mrs. Reesor was born in Mark­ ham township on February 13, 1907, the daughter of the late Christian and Adeline Hoover. She married Willis B. Reesor who predeceased her in 1978. She has been a resident of the Brussel area for some years. She is survived by one son, Henry of RR 2, Brussels, and six daughters: Esther, Mrs. James Armstrong, RR2, Listowel; Annie, Naomi and Ina all of RR 2, Brussels; Margaret, Mrs. Wayne Heatwole, RR4, Saskatoon, Sask­ atchewan and Adeline, Mrs. Mer- ship, he was the son of the late Thomas Robinson, and Maude Beadle. In 1937 he married the former Margaret Cook of East Wawanosh Township who survives him. Fol­ lowing their marriage they resided in theTillsonburg area for some vin Brubacher, RR 2, Bluevale. Also surviving is one sister, Fanny, Mrs. Levi Grove of Stou- ville. Two brothers, Norman and George, survive. Twenty-two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Mother of Brussels woman dies in hospital ANNIE HARRIS Annie Harris of Wroxeter died at Wingham and District Hospital, Nov. 13, 1986. She was 90 years of age. The former Annie Aitcheson, she married Bert Harris who predeceased her in 1958. Mrs. Harris is survived by four daughters: Erma, Mrs. Arnold Gadke, RR 1, Clifford; Maxine, Mrs. Henry Hohnstein, RR 1, time. They then moved to Belgrave and later Lucknow, where Ross was involved with minor sports. In 1967, the General Store at Auburn was purchased, and they retired from the business in 1984. Ross was extremely interested in his Community, especially in the A family service was held at th6 Robert Trench Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1986 prior to a congregational service at Brotherston Mennonite Church, Wallace Township. Rev. John Drudge, Rev. Ermerson Brubacher and Rev. Ernie Wide­ Clifford; Jean, Mrs. Redmond MacDonald, Teeswater; and Mar­ ies, Mrs. Clarence McCutcheon, RR 4, Brussels. Ten grandchild­ ren, 12greatgrandchildrenand one sister, Mrs. Jean Catton of Huntsville, also survive. She was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers. The funeral service was held from the Gorrie Chapel of the M. L. Horticultural Society and the planting of flowers in the village each summer. He was past Presi­ dent of the Silver Tops Senior Citizens Group at Auburn. Ross’ interest in woodworking and refin­ ishing of furniture, were his main hobbies. Many children in the man took part in the service. Burial was in the adjacent cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Arthur Armstrong, Henry Arm­ strong, Glen Brubacher, John Heatwole, Donald Rudolph and Ken WiJdgoose. Watts Funeral Homes on Nov. 15, 1986 with Rev. Pat Nunn officiat­ ing. Burial was in Wroxeter Cemetery. Donations to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund are appreciated as a remem­ brance . The Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion held a memorial service on Friday even­ ing at 9 p.m. Community, as well as his grand­ children benefited from his skill in making toys. He was always willing to entertain at local func­ tions playing his harmonica. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Keith, and daughter-in- law Karen, and two grandchildren Kim and Karie of Newmarket. Also surviving are two sisters, Margar­ et, Mrs. Lawrence Taylor of Belgrave, and Mrs. Ruth Coyne of Windsor. Three brothers, George of Kitchener, Mason of Wingham and Roy of East Wawanosh Township. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Elva (Mrs. Joe Thompson) and brothers Frank, Clayton, Charles and Cal­ vin. The Funeral Service was held at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 1986 with Gary Shuttleworth of Knox United Church, Auburn, where Ross was a member, officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Schneider, Cameron Robinson, Tom Robin­ son, Michael Coyne, Steven Robin­ son and David Walker. Flower Bearers were Tom Haggitt and Harry Arthur.
