McKillop council awards snow-removal contract Another sign of the coming winter was evident at the October meeting of McKillop township council Oct. 7 when council awarded the contract for winter snow-removal. The tender of Machan Construc­ tion Ltd. for snow-removal at a rate of $37.50 per hour plus $18 per day standby was accepted by council. ThecontractrunsfromDec. 1 to March 31. In other business, since no appeals were received, court of revision on the Canada Company Drain was dispensed with.
