He was one of the founders of the event, and served as secretary-treasurer of the Association for many years. John Rutledge of Blyth and his mother made a charming couple m Saturday’s parade, as they strolled with the “baby” in an old-fashioned buggy. Raymond Scotchmer from the Huron Pioneer Museum was at work as usual on the weekend serving out helpings of baked Huron county beans at the Thresher Reunion.
