They all tried their exams in June of this year. The results are as follows: Anita Gross, Grade 6 honours; Karen Bylsma, Grade 5 honours; Rob Adams, Grade 8 pass; Cheri Taylor, Grade 2 honours; Rhonda Howatt, Grade 2 honours; Angela Verburg, Grade 2 first class honours. Kerrie Szusz received honours in her Grade 5 from the Western Conservatory of Music in London. The above students are all pupils of Marsha Szusz of Londesboro. The Cheerio Club meeting was held August 20 at 2 p.m. at the home of Edythe Beacom. She welcomed all. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Dora Shobbrook. A card of thanks was received from the Nesbitt’s. The treasurer’s report was read. Roll call was answeredby nine members and one visitor, Shirley Lyon. A draw donated by Vietta Hoggart was won by Laura Lyon. Some cards were played. Edythe Beacom and Beth Knox treated all to lunch at The Blithe Spirit Tea Room, which was enjoyed by-all.
