Several area young people re

the Royal Conservatory of Music in
Toronto. They all tried their exams
in June of this year.
The results are as follows: Anita
Gross, Grade 6 honours; Karen
Bylsma, Grade 5 honours; Rob
Adams, Grade 8 pass; Cheri
Taylor, Grade 2 honours; Rhonda
Howatt, Grade 2 honours; Angela
Verburg, Grade 2 first class
honours.
Kerrie Szusz received honours
in her Grade 5 from the Western
Conservatory of Music in London.
The above students are all pupils
of Marsha Szusz of Londesboro.
The Cheerio Club meeting was
held August 20 at 2 p.m. at the
home of Edythe Beacom. She
welcomed all.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read by Dora Shobbrook. A
card of thanks was received from
the Nesbitt’s. The treasurer’s
report was read. Roll call was
answeredby nine members and
one visitor, Shirley Lyon. A draw
donated by Vietta Hoggart was
won by Laura Lyon.
