In a departure from the past, the choir will perform this concert at the Ontario Street United Church in Clinton with two performances at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The choir will sing a memorial tribute to Eleanor Bradnock. Numbered atlases available BY BOB MURPHY The executive committee of Huron County council wants the residents of the county to be aware that approximately 300 numbered copies of the Huron County Atlas are available for sale. Blyth Inn EAT IN OR TAKE OUT 523-9381 Red Cross ready, Country Breakfast L0NDESB0R0 HALL Festival singers present sacred music concert for Palm Sunday The Blyth Festival Singers are presenting their popular March concert of sacred music in Ontario Street United Church on Palm Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. ' The Singers will offer an eclectic programme of music from our Christian tradition, including works by Handel, Haydn and Brahms. These will be interspers­ ed with spirituals, familiar hymn arrangements and an interesting piece for Speech choir. And, of course, there will be audience participation when everyone joins in the hymn-sings which have been so popular at other Blyth Festival Maple Keys sugar bush now open weekends Singers’ concerts. The Singers will also sing a memorial tribute to the late Eleanor Bradnock of Auburn, who was a member of the Singers from the choir’s inception in 1980. From the opening Fanfare For Palm Sunday to the finale of the Haydn Mass, this concert promis­ es many delights for choral music lovers. Tickets at $5.00 and $1.50 are available from choir members, the Blyth Festival Box Office (523-9300) and Blyth Saga (523-4331). County gives $1200 to Grand Bend The Maitland Valley Conserva­ tion Authority invites you and your family to visit the bush this month. Maple Keys will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of March. The recommendation for the grant was made to council by its executive committee during a report presented by acting com­ mittee chairman, Coun. Bob Fish­ er (Zurich Reeve). The recommendation resulted from a visit to an executive committee meeting by Steven Schipper, artistic director of the playhouse, who thanked the com­ mittee for past grants and request­ ed the continued support of the county. Schipper advised the committee that grants such as the one from Huron County will be used to renovate and maintain the stage of the theatre.
