Members of the Huron County
Board of Education were offered
an opportunity to try out a public
address system at their December
meeting last Monday.
The system featured a cordless
microphone, ,similar to the one
now in use by Huron County
Council, but was totally portable
and capable of operating from AC
or DC current sources.

Goes electronic
On the whole Board members
seemed to ignoreThe unit, finding
it cumbersome to pass the
microphone around the U-shaped
meeting table each time someone
wanted to speak.
After about 30 minutes the PA
was totally abandoned when it
began- broadcasting taxi calls in
place of debate on educational
issues.
