Brocklebanks, who have two daughters, moved to
their home on Flora St. from Clinton, but they're

Brownies, Guides are enrolled
Brownie and Guide enrollment
was held at the Brussels United
Church, November. 29 at 4;30
p.m.
Mothers were present. A short
meeting, when a Christmas
Parade Float was talked about,
was held. Mrs. Agnes tenPas is
the chairman.
Brownies enrolled were Carol
ten Pas, Linda ten Pas, Ruth Ann
Watts, Shirley Higgins, 'Jackie
McCutcheon, Dawn Maxwell.
Guides enrolled were Becky
Dunbar, Joy Ann Devries, Pam
Sugg, Mary Ann Scott, Jean
Shipman. Members welcomed
new Guide, Kam Brocklebank
from the Clinton Guides.
There was a report of good
attendance of Guides and
Brownies on. Remembrance Day
with Wendy Ward and Donna
Elliott as flagbearers. Wendy
Martin and Sherry Heibein—Taid
the wreath.
The leaders, Guides and
Brownies wish the Captain, Mrs.
Blenkhorn a spiee-dy recovery.
Thanks to Susan Moore for
enrolling the ,Guides, as the
Captain was on the sick list.

The Bazaar under the auspice
of the Ladies' Aid, of Knox Church
was held in the Community
Centre on Saturday afternoon,
December 4. It was a decided
success with the many and varied
articles for sale soon
disappearing, especially the
home baking and candy. There
was a gobd attendance in spite of
the wintry weather and road
conditions.

Evelyn Barton, Rexdale, spent
the weekend with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fischer.
Mr Mr. and i, John Bouch,
Collingwood, visited with Mr. and
Mrs, Doug Purdy on the weekend.
Mrs. Glenn Hnether is on a
two-week holiday trip to Hawii.
Mr. Lynn Evans has been quite
ill in Wingham Hosptial with
virus pneumonia.
Mrs. Lloyd Smith was released
fr,)m Listowel Hospital last week
following surgery.

Mrs. Jack (Eileen) Clark,Blyth,
is a patient in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London. Her father,
Alex Dark, a former resident of
this area, who has been making
his home with her, is now a
resident of Huronview.
