UNICEF brings help
to children
Dangerous signs of malnutrition
are now appearing, amongst the
children of workers on the tea
plantations in Sri Lanka. UNICEF
Canada is providing
supplementary feeding of the
most affected children and
establishing hospital facilities to
treat severe cases. The
Saskatchewn Committee for
International Co-operation has
provided 'a grant of $140,000 to
UNICEF Canada to help cover the
costs of this program.
