Turnbull won l a special rdsman's award, placed fourth an inter breed barrow class for arket livestock, and had-'three ts, a second, and a fifth in arkshire classes. He won the tkshire premier breeder and envier exhibitor awards too. Jan Van Vliet of Brussels aced third for the herdsman's ard, eight in the interbreed rrow class, four firsts, a second and a third in Lacombe classes and was premier exhibitor and breeder of Lacombes. John Van Vliet of RR 2, Brussels won a second and an eight in Duroc classes at the fair, two firsts, two seconds, and a seventh, eighth, nineth and tenth placing various Landrace classes. He also had the grand champion Landrace boar. Robert J. THE BRUSSELS .00Sti, •NOVEMBER 24, 1916 ine win at Funerals MARGARET MARY TURNBULL Margaret Mary Turnbull of Namao Ridge, Alberta, died suddenly as the result of a car accident on Ocgober 21. She was 45. She is survived by her husband Charles; two sons and two daughters, dale of Calahoo, Brian of Namao Ridge, Mary Jane of Edmonton and Corinne of Namao. Her parents, three brothers and two sisters and her maternal grandfather also survive. Funeral services were held in Edmonton on October 25. MALCOLM G. MacLEAN Malcolm George MacLean , of Brussels passed away. in Listowel Memorial Hospital on' Thursday, November 18, 1976, in his 78th year. Surviving besides his wife, the former Marjorie Ryan of Brussels, are three sisters, Flora (Mrs. Charles Hurst) of Listowel, Annie (Mrs. Robert McKay) of Stratford, Janet (Mrs. Hugh McKay) of Moncrieff. He was predeceased by four brothers. A private funeral service and committal service was held on Saturday at the Peebles Funeral Home, Atwood, at 2:00 o'clock. .• Interment was in Elma Centre Cemetery. HENRY W. ARMSTRONG henry W. Armstrong, 2262 , Dougall Road, Windsor, died November 12 after an illness of two months. He was 81. He is survivied by his wife and a nephew and three neices. A brother, Willard of Belgrave, and a sister Miss Martha, of 929 Lawrence Road, Windsor also survive. Born in. Port, Moody, B.C., he moved when a youngster with his parents to the fifth line of Morris Township. • His parents were the late William Henry Armstrong and Margaret McGarvey. The late Mr. Armstrong was educated at SS #5, , Morris and was a ftireman at Auto Specialties Foundry in Windsor. He has been retired for 11 years. He was a member of Chalmers United Church. A Masonic . service was conducted in Windsor . and the fuenral was held on November 15, from the Don Mortis Funeral Honie, Windsor,' WithRev. Donald Wilson officiating. 'Interment followed in Victorta Memorial Gardens. Royal two eight places and had the grand champion gilt.
