A hievement Day in Ethel on Saturday. They are,
building inspector Gerald • Exel.
Mr. Exel said he was concerned
that buildings were being built
first and building permits applied
for later.
Is council interested in what is
going up or just the money from
the permits? he asked.
Mr.Exel disagreed with
council's argument that a
contractor shouldn't be 'held up
waiting for a building permit
pointing out that most people
know ahead of time that they are
going to build and have plenty of
time to get a permit.
"They should have one before
they build," he said.
At the same meeting council
decided that a copy of the Oct. 4
minutes of council be prepared
for Miss Doris McDonald as
requested in her letter..
