Melville,
Ladies Aid
donates to
"CARE"
The Melville Ladies Aid met at
the manse with Mrs. Margaret
Kerr as leader. The meeting
opened by singing "Blest be the
tie that binds" followed by the
Lord's prayer repeated in unison.
Mrs. Kerr read a poem on
"Life never need be dull". The
23rd psalm was repeated in
unison. Mrs. Stephens led in
prayer. The secretary-treasurer
and sunshine reports were given.
Mrs. Elsie Evans gave a ,
himorous reading related to the
American election. Roll call was
answered with a Remembrance
day verse. A donation is to be
sent to "Care".
The meetings are to commence
at 2 o'clock instead of 2:30 during-
the winter months. Mrs. Allan
Smith invited the December
meeting to be at her home.
Mrs.Evans thanked Mrs. Innes
for her hospitality.
The meeting closed by singing
a hymn and the benediction. Mrs.
Long gave a reading pertaining to
Remembrance Day and Mrs.
King gave piano .selections.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
W.W.Smith,Mrs. King and Mrs.
Innes.

Eighteen children attended the'
November meeting of the
Messengers at Knox United
Church on Sunday morning.
After the offering was received
and dedicated the group
decorated Christmas Tree
ornaments as their craft. The
story "An Angel Tells Mary" was
read followed by a game. The
meeting closed with the singing
of a Christmas hymn.

Erin Mills were weekend visitors
with her mother Mrs. Earl
Anderson.
Mr. Ross Yuill of Eftnira spent
the weekend with his parents Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Yuill.

evening with their cousin Mrs.
Lloyd Jacques of Gorrie. Other
