The amounts range from $62,500 to $625. The Wingham Arena is to' receive a grant up to $62,500 for renovations including the installation of new boards, a public address system and to replace and enlarge the arena's floor. Three Brussels area -people were sent to hospital following the collision of a stake truck and pickup truck about three miles southeast of Brussels Sunday afternoon. Driver and only occiupant of the pickup, William McWhirter, 54, of Brussels was taken to Wingham and District Hospital and later transferred to Hamilton General Hospital where he is reported in fair condition. Driver of the second truck, Paul Whitehead, 34, of RR 2, Maberly was also injured. He and one passenger, Carmen Manning, 12 of Brussels were unde observation Sunday night in Wingham hospital while Marlene Manning was listed in satisfactory condition in the same hospital.
