Mrs.Ethel Hackwell of
Huronview (formerly of Walton)
passed away Oct. 7, 1976 in
London on her 76th birthday.
She was the former Ethel Anna
Reid, daughter of the late Robert
Reid and Catherine Campbell of
McKillop Township. In 1923 she
was married to J. Elmer Hackwell
, who predeceased her in 1943.
Mrs.Hackwell was a member of
he Duff's United Church, Walton.
Surviving are two daughters,
Lois, Mrs. Rae Houston, Grey
Township; Marjory, Mrs.Dbug.
Fraser, Morris. Twp.; one brother
Nelson Reid of Walton, two
sisters, Edna, Mrs. Wes
Hackwell, Walton, Marjorie,
Mrs. Lawrence Ryan, McKillop
Twp„nine grandchildren and four
great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by a sister Harriet,
Mrs. Joseph Hackwell in 1927.
The funeral service was held at
the M. L. Watts funeral home
Saturday, October 9th at 2, p,m.
with 'Rev, Ed. Baker officiating.
Interment followed in
Maitlandbank Cemetery,
Seaforth.
Pallbearers were five
grandsons, Clayton 'Fraser, Philip.
Blake, Dennis Mathers, Robert
Houston, Murray Houston and a
nephew Jack McLlwain. Flower-
bearers were two nephews, Bill
Coutts and Gerald Ryan. READ and USE POST CLASSIFIED
