John Rutledge, who has been on vacation at home _here returned Monday to Nigeria to resume teaching there. Mr. and Mrs. David Kennedy of Hamilton visited during the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Roy. Kennedy. -Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Martin have returned from a tour of the British Isles. Mrs. Reuben McInnis, Mrs. James Taylor, Mrs. Lloyd Hodgins, Stuart and Cathy visited Mr: and Mrs. Edwin Martrin. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Parr of Prince George, B.C. visited with, his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bray of Brussels, on the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roberts, Karen and Michael of Ottawa were holidaying with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gowing and family. Miss Joan Huether has been successful in passing her bronze swimming test at Wingham recently. This was a follow 'up of the senior swimming she had completed earlier in the summer at Gorrie sponsored by the local service clubs. Her classes were all held at the Gorrie pool,but the test was given at the inghm p*ool. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Huether lave arrived home recently from t. trip to the west coast. On route they visited relatives in askatchewan and Alberta. Mr. Dave Huether has returned Lodgepole and jackpine are very similar in appearance.. to Mississauga where he will begin his teaching duties at a High School there.
