Residents see

Mrs. Elsie Henderson and 'Norman Speir provided the old
tyrne music for Monday's activities. Mrs. Myrtle Parker
accompanied at the piano for the sing-alonz.
Mrs. Lyle Storey arranged and introduced the Family
Night program which consisted of step danCing by her
granddaughter, Charlene Glanville; two numbers by the
Centennial Steppers, Joanne Johnston, Jane & Lawrie Bell,
Heather & Melissa Moffatt and Dawn & Debbie Flynn; a
stepping duet by the Finlayson sisters; vocal solos by Marie &
Debbie Flynn; instrumentals by Nelson Howe, Harold Black
and Marie Flynn. Mrs. Evaline Appleby thanked the
entertainers on behalf of the residents.
Fifty-two residents attended the matinee of Anne of Green
Gables at the Huron County PlayhouSe on Wednesday
afternoon. Transportation was prOvided by the van and twelve
volunteer drivers which was greatly appreciated by the
residents.

THE LAST DAY TO RELAX — Monday was the last day of summer vacation for
everyone still in school and most people tried to make good use of the warm
weather the day offered. Michelle McCutcheon, Linda Machan and Rose Machan

A tea was held by her relaiiVes
for. Mrs. John Hillebrecht of R.R.
4 Seaforth,' at her -residence on
Saturday to mark her 80th
birthday.
The former Mae Campbell, she
is a daughter of the later Robert
A. Campbell and Annie (Bolton)
Campbell of the 8th concession of.
.McKillop Township. Following
her. marriage to John Hillebrecht
on June 8, 1932, she and her
husband, until his death, have
resided at Lot 20, concession 1, of
McKillop.
Active in community affairs,
Mrs. Hillebrecht is an active
member of the womens division
of the Seaforth Agricultural
Society and of the Seaforth
Womens Institute of which she is
a past president, and the Seaforth
Horticultural Society. She is an
avid gardener. ti
For sixteen years she was a
member of the board of the
Seaforth Community Hospital
from which she retired about four
years ago, when she was
presented with a plaque marking
her long service.
Mrs. Hillebrecht is a member
of Edelweis Rebekah Lodge, and
is a past noble grand. She is a
member of First Presbyterian
Church in Seaforth.
Mrs. Hillebrecht's *sisters,
Miss Rita Orr, Mrs. Adam (Cora)
Dodds of Listowel, and.Mrs. Cecil
(Edna) Baxter - of R.R.2,
Springfield were present for the
celebrations which, as well as the
tea, included a family barbecue
on Sunday.
She was the recipient of many
congratulatory messages and
gifts.
