The Van Egmond Foundation is sponsoring the Huron Country Playhouse pro- duction. Lucy Maude Montgomery's classic tale is of an orphan girl who is mistakenly sent to a home that "clearly requested a boy"! Manilla Cuthbert and her brother Matthew accept Anne into their home; much to Maxilla's dismay. But Anne's pluck and personality eventually lead her into their hearts, and the hearts of everyone in the town. Brownies at camp Brussels Brownies, Wendy Martin, Patricia Ten Pas, Lori Patterson, Mary Ann Scott and Jean Shipment are spending five days at Camp Kewaydin Girl Guide Camp, along with Wendy Ward, Kim Bauer, Trina Watts, Girl Guides, who have been there for a week. People We Know a and Miss F. Pfohl of Willowdale were visitors last week with Mrs. Gertrude Bolger. Dr. and Mrs. G. Alexander and Karen and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Cardiff have returned from a trip to the Maritimes. Mrs. Ida Lamb of Winnipeg and James A. Vance of Wood- stock visited last week with their cousin, Mrs. Ida Evans. ,Mrs. Lamb stayed for a few days before going to Stratford.
