meeting to which friends and
former neighbours of Mrs. Pearl
Wheeler hid been invited in
honour of her 92nd birthday,
August 5.
Mrs. Janisa Coultes conducted
the worship service, the theme of
which she based upon Proverbs
17, verse 17, "A friend loveth at
all times." Several ladies partici-
pated and all joined in singing
verses,of favourite hymns, chosen
by individuals.

On Saturday, July 31, Janice Nadine Bewley,
daughter of Mrs. Margaret Bewley, 163 Betty Ann
Dr., Willowdale and the late Arthur Bewley, and
Robert Rakovsky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Rakovsky, Willowdale were married in Willowdale
United Church. The bride's sister Elizabeth,
Edmonton was maid of honour, Brenda Bewley,
Edmonton, Barbara Rakovsky, Willowdale and
Sandra Hruska, Listowel were bridesmaids. Best
man was David Marks, Willowdale. The bride and.
groom will reside in Kingston where they will attend
