25 In Memoriam'
THACKER In loving memory
of our, dear brother Ricky whom
we lost August 1; 1975.
Loving and kind in all his ways,
Upright and just to the end of
his ;days, -
Sincere and kind in heart and
mind.
What a beautiful memory he
left behind.
---Forever missed by Larry and
Brenda. 25-39-1
THACKER -- In loving memory
of our dear brother Ricky who left
us August 1, 1975.
When evening shades are falling,
And we sit in quiet alone,
To our hearts there comes a
longing
If he could only come home.
— Gone but never forgotten by
Cindy and Buddy. 25-39-1
THACKER — In loving memory
of our son Ricky who gassed away
,August 1, 1975.
The blow was great; the shock
severe,
We little thought the end was
near, —
And only those who have lost'
can tell
The pain of parting without
farewell.
More each day we miss you,
Son, • •
' Friends may think the WoUrid is
healed,
But they little know the sorrow
That. lieS Within our heattS

25 In Memoriam
THIEL — be laying memory of a
dear husband and father Lewis
Thiel who passed away one year
ago July 31, 1975.
In a quiet country graveyard
Where breezes gently blow
Lies one we loved so dearly
And lost one year ago.
Time cannot stop a heartache
Or even stop a tear,
Or take away a memory
Of someone we loved so dear
We may not show our sadness
Everyday throughout the year,
But in our hearts is where we
`know,
We're wishing you were here.
—Always remembered and sadly
missed by wife Carolyn, Stephen,
Brian and Charlene. 25-39x1

Smiles
A wife was telling her neighbor
about her fishing trip with her
husband.
"1 did everything wrong on the
trip. I talked too lottd,-I made too
m uch noise, I used the wrong
bait, I reeled in too soon, and I
caught more -fish than he did."
Two businessmen were
'vacationing in a fancy resort. One
said, "I'm' here on insurance
money. I collected $50,000 for fire
damages"
"Me, too," said the other. "3
got $100,000 for flood damage.
After a slight pause, the first
man inquired, "Tell me , how do
you start a flood?"
"What does your husband
do?" one wife asked another.
"He's an expediter."
"What's that?"
"Well, it's liatd to 'explain, but
if We women did What he does, it
would be called nagging."
(Continued from Page 5)
information is in the best inter-
ests of all parties. There is a -
looseness' now in the system that
should be tightened, but in a
sensitive, humane, and rational
way that considers the best
interests of ' all parties," Mr.
Taylor said. •
In the meantime, Mr. Taylor
has asked for the co-operation of
the 50 Children's Aid Societies in
Ontario, to tighten up in general
on the confidentiality of support-
ing documents to an adoption and
that all parties in an adoption
know and understand what
information is held and where.
It is anticipated that a very
small-percent of the adoptees in
Ontario 'and their natural parents
would pursue such a course Of
reunion or information exchange.
The 26-page report is a result of
four months of study by the
committee and a series of public
meetings on the issue held in
Toronto, Belleville, St, Cathar-
ines, Sudbury and London. Mr.
Taylor established the committee
in February to help formulate
overall provincial policy in light of
the inconsistency of Children's
Aid Societies' policies across the
Province on the matter.
Voluntary members of the
committee, chaired by the Pro-
vincial Adoption Co-ordinator for
the Ministry, Victoria Leach,
included adoptees, adoptive
parents, representatives of Child-
ren's Aid Societies and Parent
finders, a journalist and a grad-
uate student.
