Hospital, London.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nay of Gorrie
were visitors with her mother,
Mrs. Earl Cudmore,.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thomas
left on Thursday, July 22, on a
two-week Arctic Tour.
They travelled by air from
Toronto to Edmonton. After a
brief stay there they left by plane
for Yellowknife and other north-
ern communities. Bus and train
will take them to other points and
to Skagway where they will go
aboard the Princess Patricia for a
four and a half day cruise to
Vancouver, making calls at sev-
eral places en route.
From Vancouver they will fly to
Toronto on their way home.
Mrs. Blake Arnott of Dodsland
and her son Fred of Saskatoon
have returned home after spend-
ing and enjoyable holiday with
their Mitchell cousins. While
here, they took A short trip to
Tobermory and across to Man-
itoulin Island. Mrs. Arnott is a
daughtet of the former Allie
Mitchell who was a resident of denly on Saturday at her cottage
in Red Bay. Mrs. Glenna. Ste-
phens has gone to Kitchener to
„attend the funeral at St. John's
Church on Friday. Mrs. Triddle'
has one son, Dr. George Triddle,
a professor at The Universtiy of
Waterloo.
On Wednesday evening of ,last.
week, the Y.P.S. of Northeast
Hope played ball at Brussels and
later were treated to a Weiner
roast by Rev. and Mrs. James
Perrie at the home of Mr. Perrie's
parents.
